    2 Chainz Confronted By Alleged Crip At H60d Day

    In a YouTube video titled “2 Chainz Confronted By Crips At H60d Day, Rapper Stands Ground,” which was uploaded on June 14, Atlanta, Georgia rapper 2 Chainz can be seen being confronted by a man wearing a blue bandana t-shirt. The audio in the video is low, but at one point 2 Chainz can be heard raising his voice while standing face-to-face with the man. The rapper can be heard saying “I ain’t giving nobody…” and “I’m right here.” In addition to 2 Chainz, KollegeKidd.com reports that H60d Day also welcomed appearances from Akon and Young Thug, as well as community leaders. Young Thug was also heckled during    

    his appearance at the event. In another video uploaded to YouTube, a man can be heard insulting the rapper from a distance.“This nigga out here with us, cuz. That shit ridiculous, cuz. Skinny jean, gay nigga, cuz,” the man says in the video while secretly taping Young Thug.

    Beyonce, a thief? No way, right? Well, the Grammy Award winner is currently wrestling a lawsuit that was filed against her by a background singer claiming she stole his lyrics for her song “XO.” According to Radar Online, the background singer, Ahmad Lane, filed a lawsuit against Beyonce, her music company Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records last year, which stated that his song stolen by the former Destiny’s Child member. The story behind the alleged stolen lyrics stems from Lane working with one of Beyonce’s background singers, Chrissy Collins.

    Every J. Cole stan is different, but if you ask a day 1 J. Cole stan what the rapper's best project is, you're probably going to hear Friday Night Lights. The mixtape celebrates its 6th anniversary this year, and in celebration, Cole is taking the project on tour, well, a two-date tour for now. As part of the third installment in his Dollar & A Dream concert series, Cole will perform the mixtape in its entirety in both New York and Los Angeles on June 21st and 24th respectively. The venues and times will not be revealed until the day of, and once they are, fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis, and it'll cost a dallar piece for entry. Dreamville artists Baz, Cozz and OmenOmen will serve as the opening acts. Stay tuned to Cole's Twitter account for further news. 

    RACHEL DOLEZAL STEPS DOWN FROM THE NAACP

    After receiving much backlash for passing as a black woman while engaging in civil rights work, Rachel Dolezal has resigned as the president of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington Dolezal was outed by her parents, Larry and Ruthanne, last week who did an interview saying that they were white and so is their daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Dolezal said that their daughter began pretending to be a black woman eight or nine years ago. She attended Howard University, is a professor of Africana Studies at Eastern Washington University and has identified herself on state documents as partly black. Dolezal has even gone as far as having her two adopted siblings stage as her sons and identify a black man as her father in the media.
