50 CENT SUES RICK ROSS OVER SEXTAPE!!!
May 23, 2015
Already battling legal issues for using a photo of Jay-Z without the consent of the photographer, Rick Ross is now being sued by 50 cent. A few months back 50 was sued by Lastonia Leviston, who is the mother of one of Rick Ross children. Within her claim she states 50 cent leaked her sextape, Of course the G-Unit front man denied all allegations, but instead placed the blame of Rick Ross-stating he was behind the leaked video and has now filed papers to sue the Ross. 50 has made claims of Ross announcing the release of the tape within a radio interview a day before the take was leaked. 50 believes all he is guilty of is uploading a link to the video footage. If Lastonia Leviston wins her lawsuit against 50, the rapper also believes Rick Ross should be ordered to pay most of the money due to his heavy involvement.

AFRIKA BOMBAATAA THOUGHTS ON HIP-HOP
May 23, 2015
Hip-hop has come a long way since the days of KRS ONE, Grandmaster Flash and Afrika Bombaataa. Those who were once teens rapping on the corner for local recognition, are now selling out large arenas. Hip hop has transcend the world we now live in. It has influence the very fabric that makes up this country. For hip hop legends like Afrika Bombaataa, who was there from tahe start and who have seen both the ups and downs this industry had to face, believes there is still much more we need to accomplish. Within in interview with DJ Vald the hip hop legend states “I like to see Hip Hop on this planet get more into politics, so it won’t be no politricks, and to have health insurance and to think about keeping the culture alive and forming
the federation of Hip Hop artists that would standfor each other when injustice happens to anyone on this planet.” Elevating the bar is something that will offer a challenge to the current leaders of the industry. Recently the hip hop community has taken on a more uniformed approach, with the exception of a few. The creativity that once separated one artist from the other has slowly disappeared. A wide verity of artist avoids the idea of taking risks, but instead they rather mimic what is being played on the radio in order to have their record played. Afrika Bombaataa blames it on the DJ, “I feel once the record is hitting on the radio,” Bambaataa says, “it's time to bring some other music to make it popular again. I’m definitely one who tries to take you through a musical journey when I DJ. I try to keep my ear to the street and everything I play must have the funk to it.” Hip hop is the voice for those who don’t have a voice. It’s the CNN of the streets; it’s more than just music, Its more than just a movement, it’s a lifestyle.
KEVIN DURANT SMOKING WEED????
May 23, 2015
Original story released by TMZ: Kevin Durant moseyed out of a Hollywood club Friday night and a Rx of weed came tumbling out of his SUV. The Oklahoma City Thunder star chilled at Hooray Henry's, then limped out of the club with a boot covering his gimpy foot. As the SUV door opened, what looks like a prescription bottle of weed careened out. The real point here ... who cares if someone has weed? It looks like it's what the doctor ordered, which would make it legal, and even if it isn't, it's not nearly as bad as texting while driving. Hope it cures what ails ya.
