LOVE & HIP HOP STAR FACING UP TO 40yrs IN PRISON...SMH
April 22ND, 2015
Yandy and Mendeecees from "love and hip hop NY" might have to put their honeymooning plans on hold. Mendeecees recently pleaded guilty to an open drug case. Last year he was arrested for controlling a major drug ring, for the past 7 years he was trafficking both cocaine and heroin to upstate New York. He worked out a deal and will face a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 40 or pay a hefty fine up to $5 million. The good thing for Yandy and Mendeecees-is he will remain free until the month of August. That’s when he will receive his sentence…I wonder if they will have another spinoff reality show for this. There’s also reports, he must hand over all of his Love and Hip Hop checks….Damn.
SHOW ME THE MONEY
April 22nd, 2015
According to "MinaSayWhatNews" Dr. Dre sued his former record label, Death Row Records, for unpaid royalties and digital sales profit. He alleged that the label was not properly compensating him for sales of his debut album ‘The Chronic’. A federal judge has ruled in his favor and made it clear that Death Row is not to receive any of the proceeds from online sales- it all goes to Dre. His attorney, Howard King, said "we are gratified that the federal court has unambiguously declared that Death Row has no right to engage in such tactics [selling his music digitally], and must hold all proceeds from these illicit distributions in trust for our client."
